Shuting Chen was appointed as an Immigration Judge to begin hearing cases in October 2022. Judge Chen ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 2006 from the University of Oklahoma and a Juris Doctor in 2009 from Harvard Law School. From 2020 to 2022, she served as a staff attorney in the immigration unit of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, in San Francisco. From 2011 to 2020, she was an immigration attorney in private practice. From 2010 to 2011, she was an associate at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, in Washington, D.C. Judge Chen is a member of the State Bar of California.
