Attorney General William P. Barr appointed Ravit R. Halperin as an Immigration Judge in December 2020. Judge Halperin ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 1989 from the State University of New York in Stony Brook and a Juris Doctor in 1992 from the City University of New York Law School. From 2008 to 2020, she was in private practice as the founder of Immigration Law Offices of R. Rae Halperin, in Adelanto and Lancaster, California. From 2000 to 2008, sheserved as a staff attorney for ASK Law Group, in Sherman Oaks, California. Judge Halperin is am ember of the Utah State Bar.
