Judge Gordon ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 1985 from Brandeis University, a Juris Doctorin 1989 from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law, and a Doctor of Philosophy in 2010 from the University of Southern California. From 1995 to 2021, he practiced immigration law with the Law Offices of Louis A. Gordon in Pasadena and Los Angeles, California. Judge Gordon is am ember of the District of Columbia Bar, New Jersey State Bar and Pennsylvania Bar.
