Attorney General William Barr appointed Justin M. Price to begin hearing cases in May 2019.Judge Price ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 1994 from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Juris Doctor in 2000 from the West Virginia University College of Law. From2007 to 2019, he served as an assistant chief counsel for the Office of Chief Counsel,Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in San Francisco,California. From 2006 to 2007, he served as an assistant public defender for the Maryland Officeof the Public Defender in Hagerstown, Maryland. From 2000 to 2005, he served as an active-duty judge advocate for the U.S. Air Force with the 9th Reconnaissance Wing at Beale Air Force Base, California, and with the 8th Fighter Wing at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Judge Price is a member of the Maryland State Bar.
