Adam Perl was appointed as an Immigration Judge to begin hearing cases in April 2021. Judge Perl ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 2006 from Florida International University and a Juris Doctorin 2011 from St. Thomas University School of Law. From 2018 to 2021, he served as a Deputy Chief Counsel, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), in New York. From 2016 to2018, he served as an Assistant Chief Counsel, OPLA, ICE, DHS, in Newburgh, New York;from 2014 to 2016, he served as an Assistant Chief Counsel, in New York; and from 2011 to2014, he served as an Assistant Chief Counsel, in Los Angeles. Judge Perl is a member of the Florida Bar.
