Then-Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker appointed Wynne P. Kelly to begin hearingcases in March 2019. Judge Kelly ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 2000 from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor in 2005 from the Fordham University School of Law. From 2008to 2019, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the District of Columbia. From 2007 to 2008,he was an associate attorney with Hunton & Williams LLP in Miami, Florida. From 2006 to2007, he was a judicial clerk for the Honorable K. Michael Moore, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Florida, in Miami, Florida. From 2005 to 2006, he was an associate attorney with Kelley Drye & Warren LLP in New York, New York. Judge Kelly is a member of the Florida, New Jersey and New York Bars.
