Nicole C. Lomartire was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in August 2023. Judge Lomartire ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 1995 from Hofstra University and a Juris Doctor in 2003 from the University of Maryland School of Law. From 2017 to 2023, she served as a deputy chief counsel, and from 2015 to 2017, she served as an assistant chief counsel, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in Baltimore. From 2004 to 2015, she served as an assistant state's attorney for the Office of the State's Attorney for Baltimore City. Judge Lomartire is a member of the Maryland State Bar.
