Jason E. Braun was appointed as an Immigration Judge to begin hearing cases in February 2023. Judge Braun ear ned a Bachelor of Science in 2005 from Georgia State University and a Juris Doctor in 2008 from Antonin Scalia Law School. From 2015 to 2022, he was the director of legal services for Restoration Immigration Legal Aid in Arlington, Virginia. From 2014 to 2015, he was an associate attorney at Kelly & Crandall PLC, where his practice included represent ing juvenile noncitizens in Special Immigrant Juvenile cases. From 2005 to 2013, he was an associate attorney at Surovell Isaacs Petersen & Levy PLC in Fairfax. Judge Braun is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
