Judge Olson ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 2000 from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Juris Doctor in 2008 from the University of California, Davis School of Law. From 2021 to 2024, she served as an assistant U.S. attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Hawaii. From 2016 to 2021, she served as a trial attorney at the Office of International Affairs, Criminal Division, Department of Justice. From 2013 to 2015, she served as an assistant city attorney at the Seattle City Attorney's Office. From 2012 to 2013, she was a litigation associate at DLA Piper, in Seattle. From 2009 to 2012, she was a litigation associate at Davis, Polk, and Wardwell, in New York City. From 2008 to 2009, she served as a law clerk at the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, in Santa Ana, California. Judge Olson is a member of the New York State Bar.
