Judge Hansen ear ned a Bachelor of Political Science in 1998 from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and a Juris Doctor in 2003 from the University of North Dakota School of Law. From 2003 to March 2026, he was in private practice as a solo practitioner in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Judge Hansen is licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota.
