Then-Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker appointed Jerome M. Rothschild Jr. to begin hearing cases in March 2019. Judge Rothschild ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 1992 from the University of Georgia and a Juris Doctor in 1995 from the University of Georgia School of Law. From 1995 to 1997, he was an attorney with William O. Cox, P.C. From 1997 to 2018, he serve das an assistant district attorney for the Chatham County Georgia District Attorney's Office. Judge Rothschild is a member of the State Bar of Georgia
