Pope to begin hearing cases in May 2019.Judge Pope ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 2003 from Niagara University and a Juris Doctor in2006 from Syracuse University College of Law. From 2014 to 2019, he served as an assistant chief counsel, Office of the Chief Counsel, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Departmentof Homeland Security, in Baltimore, Maryland. From 2007 to 2012, he was an associate attorneyspecializing in immigration law at the law firm of Berlin & Associates, P.A. in Baltimore,Maryland, and later founded the Law Office of Jason Pope in Frederick, Maryland. Judge Pope isa member of the Maryland State Bar.
