Judge Johnson ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 2003 from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor in 2010 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. From 2022 to 2024, he served as a Hearing Officer for the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, City of New York. From 2021 to 2022, he served as an attorney for the Fire Department, City of New York. From 2018 to 2021, he served as a supervising attorney for the Administration for Children's Services, City of New York. From 2010 to 2018, he was in private practice in New York, specializing in immigration law. Judge Johnson is a member of the New York State Bar.
