Official biography
Then-Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker appointed Christian M. Pressman to begin hearing cases in March 2019. Judge Pressman ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 1993 from the University of Miami, a Juris Doctor in 1999, and Legum Magister in 2000, both from the University of Miami School of Law. From 2000 to 2002, he served as a judicial law clerk for the U.S. District Court, Southern District, Florida. From 2002 to 2003, he served as the assistant district counsel for the Department of Justice Attorney General's Honors Program. From 2003 to2018, he served as the assistant chief counsel for Office of the Principal Legal Advisor,Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in Miami, Florida. Judge Pressman is a member of the Florida Bar.
