Judge Perry ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 1978 from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Juris Doctor in 1981 from the Loyola Law School. From 1991 to 2018, sheserved as an assistant U.S. attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of California in San Diego. From 2007 to 2018, she also served as a volunteer judge pro temporefor the San Diego Superior Court. From 1987 to 1991, she served as an assistant U.S. attorney atthe U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Nevada. From 1983 to 1987, she was a deputy attorney general with the State of Nevada. From 1982 to 1983, she was a deputy district attorneyin Clark County, Nevada. Judge Perry is a member of the Nevada State Bar and the State Bar of California.
