Ana M. Mencini was appointed as an Immigration Judge to begin hearing cases in October 2022. Judge Mencini ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 1990 from Lake Forest College, a Master of Arts in 1993 from DePaul University, and a Juris Doctor in 2001 from Chicago-Kent College of Law. From 2014 to 2022, she was in private practice at the law offices of Ana M. Mencini & Associates PC in Itasca, Illinois. From 2011 to 2014, she was an assistant clinical professor of law at Chicago- Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. From 2004 to 2011, she was in private practice at the law offices of Ana M. Mencini & Associates PC. From 2002 to 2004, she was an associate attorney with A. Traub & Cadiz PC in Lombard, Illinois. From 2001 to 2004, she was a legal editor with Lexis-Nexis. Judge Mencini is a member of the Illinois State Bar.
