Visiting
Detainees can receive video visit calls and email through the IC Solutions App on any Android or IOS device. There is no cost to establish an account, and detainees are allowed 30 minutes of free visitation per week.

Mail and money
Letters sent to detainees must be addressed as indicated below and must include the sender's name and address. A mail pick-up and delivery schedule is posted in all housing units. Funds are recorded in the detainee's Trust Fund Account (TFA) which is used to record all deposits, withdrawals, and purchases. Before sending packages to detainees, contact the Chicago Field Office detained unit via email at chi-ero-detained@ice.dhs.gov.
