I-865 Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address
The affidavit-of-support sponsor's own change of address form. A sponsor must report a move within 30 days, for as long as the support obligation lasts. Missing it carries a civil penalty, and a larger one if the failure is tied to knowledge that the immigrant received means-tested benefits.

What changed in 2025 and 2026
- This is separate from the immigrant's own AR-11. Sponsors routinely forget it, and the penalty range runs from $250 to $5,000.
