AR-11 Alien's Change of Address Card

Reports a new home address to USCIS. Almost every noncitizen in the United States must file it within 10 days of moving, whether or not an application is pending. Diplomats in A and G status and visitors on the Visa Waiver Program are the main exceptions. Filing online through a USCIS account updates the address on pending cases at the same time.

What changed in 2025 and 2026

  • Failure to report is a misdemeanor under INA 265 and, since the January 2025 registration push, USCIS has repeatedly warned that address non-reporting can be treated as a removability issue. Changing an address through the online account does not change an address with the immigration court, which needs Form EOIR-33.
