Attorney General William P. Barr appointed Ryan A. Fisher as an immigration judge in March 2020. Judge Fisher ear ned a Bachelor of Science in 2006 from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Juris Doctor in 2010 from the University of Georgia School of Law. From2016 to 2020, he served as an assistant district attorney for the Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. From 2012 to 2016, he served as an assistant solicitor general for the Gwinnett County Solicitor General's Office, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. From 2010 to 2012, he was an associate attorney with Thompson, Sweeny, Kinsinger, & Pereira PC, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Judge Fisher is a member of the Georgia State Bar.
