Then-Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker appointed Paul A. Hable to begin hearingcases in March, 2019. Judge Hable ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 2000 from the University of Arizona, and a Juris Doctor in 2002 from St. Mary's School of Law. From 2015 to 2019, heserved as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Texas. From 2003 to 2015, heserved as an assistant district attorney in the Criminal District Attorney Offices of Navarro County and Johnson County, Texas. Judge Hable is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
