Judge Spencer-Walters was appointed as an immigration judge in March 2008. She received a bachelor of arts degree in 1994 from the University of North Florida and a juris doctorate in 1997 from Nova Southeastern University. From 2000 to March 2008, Judge Spencer-Waltersserved as assistant chief counsel, ICE, DHS, in Phoenix. From 1998 to2000, she worked as assistant district counsel in San Diego. From 1997to 1998, Judge Spencer-Walters served as a judicial law clerk, enteringon duty through the Attorney General?s Honors Program, in the San Diego Immigration Court. She is a member of the Florida Bar.
