Former Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch appointed Lauren T. Farber to begin hearing cases in April 2017. Judge Farber ear ned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999 from Washington University in St. Louis and a Juris Doctor in 2003 from the American University Washington College of Law. From 2010 through 2017, she served as a senior attorney for the Office of the Chief Counsel (OCC), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in New York, N.Y. From 2003 to 2010, she served as an assistant chief counsel for OCC, ICE, DHS. Judge Farber is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bars.
