Jonathan Goulding was appointed as an Immigration Judge to begin hearing cases in February 2023. Judge Goulding ear ned a Bachelor of Science in 2002 from Northeastern University and a Juris Doctor in 2005 from Ave Maria School of Law. From 2018 to 2022, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Michigan. From 2016 to 2018, he served as a senior attorney, and from 2007 to 2015, as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Department of Homeland Security, in Detroit. From 2008 to 2018, while at ICE, he served as a special assistant U.S. attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Michigan. Judge Goulding is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
