Schwab was appointed as an Immigration Judge to begin hearing cases in July 2021.Judge Schwab ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 1990 from the University of Texas at San Antonioand a Juris Doctor in 1993 from St. Mary's University School of Law. From 2018 to 2021, sheserved as an Assistant Chief Counsel, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in Houston. From 2017 to 2018, she was Senior Counsel with Greer, Herz & Adams LLP, in League City, Texas. From 2006 to 2017,Communications and Legislative Affairs Divisionshe served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Magistrate Judge John Froeschner, with the U.S.District Courts, Southern District of Texas. From 2005 to 2006, she served as a Deputy Attorney General, California Office of the Attorney General, in Sacramento, California. From 2004 to2005, she was a Litigation Attorney for a Staff Counsel Office with Farmers Insurance Exchange, in Stockton, California. From 1994 to 2003, she was Counsel at United Services Automobile Association, in San Antonio. Judge Schwab is a member of the State Bar of California and State Bar of Texas.
