Attorney General William P. Barr appointed Edward F. Lee as an immigration judge in March 2020. Judge Lee ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 1978 from the University of California at Irvineand a Juris Doctor in 1983 from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. From1996 to 2020, he served as a judge for the California Superior Court, in Santa Clara County. From 1992 to 1996, he served as a municipal court judge for the Santa Clara County Judicial District, California. From 1984 to 1992, he served as senior trial attorney for the Office of the District Attorney, County of Santa Clara, California. Judge Lee is a member of the State Barof California.
