Daniel B. Conklin was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in November 2023. Judge Conklin ear ned a Bachelor of Arts in 2003 from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor in 2010 from the University of Kansas School of Law. From 2014 to 2023, he practiced immigration law with The Shagin Law Group in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. From 2013 to 2014, he was a staff attorney for the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center in York, Pennsylvania. From 2010 to 2012, he served as a judicial law clerk and then an attorney advisor at the Kansas City Immigration Court, entering on duty through the Attorney General's Honors Program. Judge Conklin is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
