Visiting
Visitation hours: Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays: 7:30 a.m - 7 p.m, Tuesdays and Thursdays: 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. Visitors are allowed a clear gallon size bag, with the following items: Photo ID, Car Keys, Change, Unopened Baby Formula, Unopened Baby Food, and diapers/wipes. Any items not allowed must be thrown away or taken back to their vehicle. DHDF does allow minor visitation.
Legal visits
Legal representatives of detainees are authorized to visit their clients in person during the following hours: Monday to Saturday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Legal visitation can now be scheduled in advance through ERO eFile on a first come basis.
Mail and money
Letters sent to detainees must include the last four digits of the detainee's A-number (File Number), plus the sender's name and address. A mail pick-up and delivery schedule are posted in all housing units. Indigent detainees (those who have no means of financial support and no funds in their facility account) will be provided postage allowance at government expense. To enhance the safety of the facility, all incoming mail is subject to screening for contraband.
