Visiting
Visitation hours: On-site visitation hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, Monday through Friday, including all designated federal holidays, Visitors will not be processed after 4:30 p.m. Detainees are allowed two (2) visits per week (Sunday-Saturday) for up to fifteen (15) minutes of non-contact visitation with family and friends according to the schedule. Use of HOMEWAV is available 7 days a week from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Visiting periods can also be shortened due to security risks, count, or other unanticipated events. - Visitors should only enter the facility with picture identification and no other property.
Legal visits
Legal representatives of detainees are authorized to have an on-site visit with their client 24 hours a day / 365 days a year. Please note that a G-28 must be on file for any information to be disclosed.
Mail and money
Letters sent to detainees must include the last four digits of the detainee's A-number (Alien Number), plus the sender's name and address. A mail pick-up and delivery schedule is posted in all housing units. Indigent detainees (those who have no means of financial support and no funds in their facility account) will be provided postage allowance at the facility's expense. To enhance the safety of the facility, all incoming mail is subject to screening for contraband.
